Marnik’s love for the ocean began at just six years old during a trip to the Maldives. This passion led him to earn a bachelor’s degree in Coastal and Marine Management in the Netherlands, where he specialized in coral reef ecology. With six years of experience primarily focusing on coral and herbivore restoration, artificial reef techniques, and marine monitoring methods across diverse locations including the UK, Thailand, Saba, and Bonaire, Marnik now offers his expertise as a consultant. He focuses on marine conservation and sustainable practices to protect and restore ocean ecosystems.

As a certified scuba diving instructor and guide, I am dedicated to sharing my love for the ocean with divers of all levels. My passion for underwater photography, combined with a background in cinematography, allows me to capture the stunning beauty of marine ecosystems. Additionally, I have expertise in marketing and social media management, which enables me to effectively promote ocean conservation initiatives.
With experience in volunteering for marine restoration and conservation projects, I focus on protecting vital underwater environments and inspiring others to appreciate and care for our oceans.
